It's almost time to meet Jenica. Mae showed me a good 30 minute 4D ultra sound video and I could already tell Jenica's gonna be a cutie pie. She smiled & frowned and what not and it was just too adorable. Can't wait! Anyways, The baby shower photoshoot went better than I thought. Although, the lighting thing wasn't working for me in the beginning but I got it... eventually. I'm no professional yet but the pictures turned out nice (after it was edited) lol. Tomorrow, I have a photoshoot to do with Mae for her baby shower. It's been raining all week so it's more than likely going to be an indoor photoshoot. I'm still a noob at indoor shooting because I havn't experimented too much on lighting and lighting is key to having great pictures. I just did a couple of practice shots today and I result in harsh lighting, too bright, etc. So I attached a little I.D. card onto my SB-600 to get softer lighting and it worked, hopefully all goes well tomorrow.
I got bored out of my mind today and I decided to edit some photos from the Philippines. Tell me what ya think. Enjoy.

Gahhh
The worst first day of school ever.
So I have yet to recover from my trip. Surprisingly I havn't recovered yet. It's been over two weeks already. I'm questioning this so called "jet lag". Is it really jet lag or am I just a true insomniac? I try to sleep early but my body just won't shut down on me. I finally fixed it tho... Hopefully.
Today was the first day of 2nd semester. Yipee. My first class begins at 8am. I set my alarm at 5am. Alarm rings.. I turn it off and wake up at 7am. Just great. I run to the bathroom and take a quick shower (I cannot leave my house without bathing). Did a 10 minute blow dry on my hair. I woke up with blood shot eyes, why? I don't know. I wasn't about to go to school cuz of it. Not trying to make a first impression on a teacher looking high but then again I make a bad impression by not coming to class. Thennnnnn, my car was iced up badly. I didn't even have the time to throw water on it cuz I left the house about 7:30ish. Blah I don't feel like complaining anymore haha.
P.S. Socialogy is quite interesting.

1. I am obsessed with taking pictures. Not of me but other people and everything around me. Anybody who knows me, knows that I carry my camera everywhere. Literally.
2. I like driving. Yes it's true. I prefer to be the driver than the passenger.
3. I think I'm too nice. Keyword: too nice. It's hard for me to say no but lately I've been getting the courage to say it. Sometimes I'm just too nice in general but don't take advantage. I can tell.
4. I've broken into my own home one time. I was 11 at the time. It was afterschool and I believe it was raining. I walked home with my brother & sister and we came home to an empty house. We didn't feel like sitting in the backyard so I took the ladder.. Climbed up the roof and opened the window to my parents bedroom. I had to rip the screen off and boy was my dad furious.
5. I don't show it when people disappoint me. Trust me, I've been disappointed quiet a few times last year ('08). I just won't mention some of them. I feel that if I show that I am, they'll get disappointed or even more disappointed. I hide what I feel if it's necessary.
6. I've never broken a bone. Not one and I don't intend on breaking one.
7. I can be a snob. When I see an aqaintance walking around the mall or wherever, I do the "bust out my cellphone and press the keypad" trick so it seems like I didn't see him/her and if they say hi then I'll say hi back. Now if you're a friend and I run into you, we'll be doing alot of catching up.
8. I hate bugs/spiders. Absolutly hate em. I recently went to the philippines and there's roaches there. I walk into the bathroom and I rapidly walk out saying "ew ipis" (cockroach in tagalog). And my aunt would go kill it.
9. I love an adrenaline rush. Like the 60 foot drops on a roller coaster gets my adrenaline pumping.
10. I'm negative. When something good is happening.. I think of all the worst case scenarios that can happen. Like when I was on the airplane and it was experiencing REAL bad turbulance, all i could think about was us crashing into the water and I don't know how to swim. Or when me and some friends went to this concert type thing.. all I thought about was "what if we don't get in? I drove all the way to san francisco for nothing." etc etc.
11. I put other people first instead of me. It's self explanitory. That goes into the being too nice category.
12. I don't like the ocean. But I love going to the beaches for the views and whatnot. I love the city.. The sky scrapers, the nightlife, the lights, and everything else it has to offer.
13. My middle name (roldan) is my real mothers maiden name. That's the only thing SHE has that's apart of ME. My mom right now is not my real mom but I treat her like she is because she's been there since I was young. My real mom left when I was only 3. I kept in touch with her last year for a couple of days then it faded. I'm not trippen tho.
14. I have really bad memory. So studying can be very hard for me. I have to work extra to remember things but there are times when I can remember things from way back when I was little but if you're asking me to remember something from yesterday.. It's like "i don't remember".
15. I was a T.A. (teachers assistant) in the library. I actually looked forward to that class everytime. The environment is calm and peaceful. Ever since I T.A'd there, I learned that I loved to work with people. Ironically, I read this in a article
"Although they are well suited for careers in machine drawing, surveying and similar occupations, they are better fitted for a job in a library or office than a workshop."
16. I barely know anybody who uses blogger. Except you ISS users. So I don't know who to tag next. Probably just a couple and not 16 people.

Eastwood/Taguig
Yesterday, my dad woke me up extra early to go to Eastwood Mall. It's like a high class mall so it was really empty compared to the SM malls here. Like really empty. It's still building some stores so it's not fully finished. We went there and played in the arcade haha. Afterwards we ate at Terriyaki Boy, good food. Then we went to The Fort, Taguig. Very nice. I wouldn't mind living in a condo in that area. Me and the cousins kinda just spent the whole time in the Apple store taking pictures haha. And again, we went bowling.

On New Years Day we went to Mall of Asia to watch the "oh so spectacular" fireworks. I believe we waited longer than the fireworks showcase. I swear it was no more than five minutes. Afterwards we went bowling. The bowling alley was actually featured on thecoolhunter.net. Check it out here.

I can't remember the last time I was ever this sick. My throat hurts when I sneeze, my nose is clogged to the max, and I'm coughing every 10 seconds. My cousin gave me some nasty ass nyquil shit last night and it helped.. ALOT.
Yesterday was New Years Eve for me. I must say, my parents were right about spending the Holidays in the Philippines. Last night was actually pretty fun. We started lighting fireworks at about 11pm. As it got closer to 12am, the fireworks were non-stop. My eyes were getting irritated and dry since I wear contacts and all the smoke from the fireworks were just rushing into my eyeballs. That was not cool. It was hard to breathe also cuz the smoke was so thick. Philippines is so polluted, no lie lol. After the extravaganza, there was food served of course. Bbq, spaghetti, sopas, queso de bola, sans rival and hella other shit. After the feast, we had family games. Musical chairs, the spoon game (i forgot what its called), "hep hep" hooray LMAO, beer drinking straw thing. Then we did a New Years Secret Santa. I got 2 perfumes and a wallet. :)
Tonight we're going to continue our New Years Day celebration at the Mall of Asia. Bowling & fireworks. I'll blog again tomorrow.
