I haven't been on my blog in forevers! I felt like I needed to catch up on this. This blog is super late because this was from last weekend. Halloween was just another typical day in October for me. I really wasn't excited for it nor did I plan on doing anything big that day. I went to Berkeley with Timayo & Pao for my photography project, which is street photography. I'll post up what I got from my film camera. Originally it was suppose to be in San Francisco but the bay bridge was closed and I wasn't about to go around just to get there. It was an interesting day with interesting people. Afterwards, we went to Timayo's and watched Zerophilia, interesting I must say. Pao left, and me and Timayo finished the whole season of Scream Queens. I went home around about 3am and knocked out. It was a chill Halloween :) Enjoy the photos!

That disappointing movie called Paranormal Activity is what I can get. Although I didn't pay for my ticket, it was not worth the $10.50 my cousin paid. Ever since I heard of the movie, I couldn't help but read peoples reviews and have my friends tell me about their reactions about it.

After the group before us exited the theater, I saw, maybe one or two girls crying and other people were just like "oh shit!". At that point, I was eager to watch it already. Finally, the previews ended and the movie started. It was very slow in the beginning, middle, and end. I give props to them for not using so many effects and made it look real. But as for me, that was NOT the scariest movie ever. I jumped in one part where **spoiler** Micah turns around and BAM! Katie's face was right in the camera **end of spoiler**. The Exorcism of Emily Rose still gets me. So if you haven't watched it, I suggest you just wait until it comes out on DVD or online and watch it in your own home to experience the "fear". But then again, that's just my opinion :)

I love my photography class :) we pretty much take pictures then spend the whole class time in the dark room. Anyways, we were given a new project, night photography. Not my forte but after some practice shots I think I got it down a bit. Still need some practice on it. Thank God Timayo was there to be my "coat hanger" as she called it. I prefer assistant but okay haha. It was freakin cold! Most of these shots are black and white because for class I shoot with a film camera and the film I use is black and white so I tested it out on my d-slr before I shot with my film to prevent any mistakes, knowing I can't delete or edit my film shots in the dark room. Afterwards, we ate dinner at wingstop. Enjoy!

Anyways, us cousins decided to go to Valley Fair mall in San Jose. Hella far but it was worth the drive. Tired of all the malls here. Spent about 4 hours there. My brother and Sean got lost but they were smart enough to meet us at the car cuz my brother doesn't have a phone. We went to Sunvalley mall afterwards to try on this dress Mae put on hold. She ended up not liking it then we ate dinner at Pho Hoa. Enjoy :)

I've had a very long week starting since Wednesday. School started and I love all my classes. Definitely my photography class and psychology. After school Wednesday, Timayo and I headed to Sacramento to pick up Jenn since she was staying for a couple days. Thursday, I slept over at Timayo's house. We watched The Knowing and may I add, that was thee most stupid movie ever. We had dinner at Sonic's then went junk food shopping at Walmart. Friday, we went clubbing and I saw my brother there lol then we ate at Denny's. Saturday, I chilled with my cousin, mike and baby jenica, along with Nanay. We went to Concord mall. Jenica got some jay's and a pair of vans. Cute cute.. Afterwards we headed back to Vallejo and went to a BBQ. Did karaoke, ate, and chilled. Then I drove to Timayo's house and we headed to Sac once again to drop off Jenn. Enjoy.

Owww my body hurts. On Friday, the mains decided to go to the Solano County Fair, I haven't been to a fair in years. The last time was probably, sophomore year in high school. It was quite a night. One of the best nights actually. We rode Star something. I forgot. It's a ride that has no seat belts. Only thing holding you back is gravity, and OMG, when the ride got into full gear, me, pao, and timayo were laughing non-stop. No joke. Shit tickles in the stomach. We ate a bunch of junky stuff and afterwards had real dinner at Sonics and Timayo got Wingstop. This lady in a black trench coat was following us, we were afraid because she could have anything under that jacket. A gun or maybe a knife. She talked slow, real slow. She was pausing after every word. "Do...... You.......Have.........Any.......Money...." O.O So corey gave her a quarter LMAO then she switches to Me, pao and timy. I was calm, walking slowly, and she was behind me going "What........About......You?" and I freakin look to my left pao and timayo are on the other side of the parking lot. I'm like "WTF?! hella left me" lmao. That was fun and scary at the same time then after we dropped off pao this old man falls on his bike right in the middle of the street on a busy intersection. I had my moment of sympathy then I just busted out laughing. k, enjoy!

Yesterday was such a long day! Had to drop my mom off to work super early then I went home and got ready. Timayo & Pao came through 30 minutes before the planned time so we left like 7am and picked up Alexis then headed out to the Legion of Honor museum in SF. Luckily I had "Linda" my wonderful GPS lmao. The museum tour was FACKIN boring. I wanted to walk out the first 10 minutes or less but I couldn't because it was a field trip. Stood around for 2 hours and listened to her blabber away about Realism. And I, myself, do not find realistic art interesting. More into pop art and stuff. Anyways, headed to the Golden Gate Bridge, walked a bit and left. On our way back to Vallejo, I saw the sign "Stinson Beach" so I asked em if they wanted to go to the beach and they agreed. Afterwards, went straight to Vallejo and got pho and went home! Enjoy.

FIREWORKS ARE THE HARDEST THINGS TO TAKE PHOTOS OF. Did not get one decent one. Anyways, it was a good, chill, long day. The plan was originally for me to drive, like always but I didn't have my car because my dad took it to work. Because we went missing one car ever since their accident happened. Timayo finally came through after like 29842 hours LOL. We picked up Pao then headed to Vallejo for dinner at Sonics then we headed out to the Marina to meet up with Jenn, her boyfriend, Jackie and her friend lol. Fireworks was decent. It was pretty long but the time interval between each firework was so slow, took em about 5 seconds til the next firework zoomed up into the sky. We left about 5 minutes earlier because we didn't wanna get caught up in the bad traffic getting out. We still did.

I've been lazy to update on this but last week was Timayo's birthday. A couple days before I disappointed Timayo on purpose by saying one of our bestfriends couldn't make it because she had a busy schedule AHEM Jenn. I know how much she wanted Jenn to be there so I turn her into a birthday gift instead lmao. I picked her up from Sacramento and drove back to Fairfield. We surprised Timayo, I saw them tears flowin lmao. We headed to the city to go have dinner at the cheesecake factory. It was all a success. Everyone pitched in for something. Surprisinly, going to sacramento then to fairfield, then to SF, then back to fairfield, then off to sacramento and back to fairfield, it only costed $36.00 of gas. It was a fun night!

Oh what a long day! Today was Sean's 7th birthday party at Kids Gone Wild in Vacaville. I waited for Mae to drive over to my house then I drove to Vacaville with her. Chilled there for a bit. We left and went to Solano Mall cuz Mae had to return some shiet. Finished quick and I did not feel like going home so I said we must do something. Figured we should eat dinner at Hooters so I'm like "yeah sure why not". We went back to my house to get Mae's car then we both headed to Vallejo. Picked up Alissa and her friend, met up with Mike at Over the Top Shop lol. I don't know why? Guess the lovers just wanted to see each other aha. Left for Sacramento and when we got there Mae yells out "CENTER COURT" so we ate there. I havn't been there. It was pretty cool. It turns into a club at night, DJ and errrrthang. Expensive tho. Left and we hella got into "clubbing mode" but the baby mama had to go home to her babygirl and plus... not dressed lol.

I had a chill day with my cousins today. I woke up and called Mae ASAP. She told me to get ready then go pick her up. Anyways, went to her house then we went to Walmart to buy Baby Shower gifts for Ate Michelle. Ran into Mike. Went back to Mae's place to get a bag to put the gifts then headed to Ate Michelles. Grubbed and played baby shower games. Mae and I bought her diapers so we were given the chance to be put into a drawing because whoever bought diapers got their names put in it. So the girl says we won and we were like "yay!" cuz he hella wanted to win something. It was a $50 dollar gas card for Shell... Ooo yeahhhh. So we halfed $25.00 each since it was two cards anyways. Afterwards, we headed over to my place for the fight. Sat there for a minute and got bored so I suggested on getting from frozen yogurt, went home and watched the fight. Honestly, yes that was an epic knock out BUT it was so fast lol. 2 minutes and 59 seconds? Crazy. Some folks in my house betted on Hatton to win. HAH! Stupid move. :)

I'm so slackin on things now a days. What's up with it Ruby? Anyways, havn't been up to much lately. Spring was okay, just took my brother around everywhere to go job hunting and chilled with folks. Yesterday I watched "Obsessed" with Timayo & Pao. The movie, in my opinion was pretty good. I love thrillers and suspense like "Enough" with Jennifer Lopez. Back to Beyonce, she got mad gangster on it tho LOL. Sasha sure did get Fierce. We went to In & Out afterwards, havn't had that in ages. Been on Frozen Yogurt runs too. My parents love it ahaa.

It's finally freakin spring break! Thank goodness. So on Friday Timayo, Alexis and Me decided to visit Jenn in Sacramento after of 1 year of not seeing her. She actually doesn't live that far but we got lost for a good 2 hours because of stupid ass mapquest. After some gas station stopping, phone calling, road side stopping, we finally found her. Went to wing stop for dinner and talked forever. Went to her house and continued to catch up 1 years worth of stories. Today, I drove my brother around for his applications and shit then I went to Mae's house to pick her up then we went to color motion to get Jenica's invitations printed (which is cute btw). Mae also found out her picture has been on a cotillion catalogue type thing for 3 years and she just now realized lol. Enjoy.

Tomorrow, I have a photoshoot to do with Mae for her baby shower. It's been raining all week so it's more than likely going to be an indoor photoshoot. I'm still a noob at indoor shooting because I havn't experimented too much on lighting and lighting is key to having great pictures. I just did a couple of practice shots today and I result in harsh lighting, too bright, etc. So I attached a little I.D. card onto my SB-600 to get softer lighting and it worked, hopefully all goes well tomorrow.

The worst first day of school ever.

So I have yet to recover from my trip. Surprisingly I havn't recovered yet. It's been over two weeks already. I'm questioning this so called "jet lag". Is it really jet lag or am I just a true insomniac? I try to sleep early but my body just won't shut down on me. I finally fixed it tho... Hopefully.

Today was the first day of 2nd semester. Yipee. My first class begins at 8am. I set my alarm at 5am. Alarm rings.. I turn it off and wake up at 7am. Just great. I run to the bathroom and take a quick shower (I cannot leave my house without bathing). Did a 10 minute blow dry on my hair. I woke up with blood shot eyes, why? I don't know. I wasn't about to go to school cuz of it. Not trying to make a first impression on a teacher looking high but then again I make a bad impression by not coming to class. Thennnnnn, my car was iced up badly. I didn't even have the time to throw water on it cuz I left the house about 7:30ish. Blah I don't feel like complaining anymore haha.

1. I am obsessed with taking pictures. Not of me but other people and everything around me. Anybody who knows me, knows that I carry my camera everywhere. Literally.

2. I like driving. Yes it's true. I prefer to be the driver than the passenger.

3. I think I'm too nice. Keyword: too nice. It's hard for me to say no but lately I've been getting the courage to say it. Sometimes I'm just too nice in general but don't take advantage. I can tell.

4. I've broken into my own home one time. I was 11 at the time. It was afterschool and I believe it was raining. I walked home with my brother & sister and we came home to an empty house. We didn't feel like sitting in the backyard so I took the ladder.. Climbed up the roof and opened the window to my parents bedroom. I had to rip the screen off and boy was my dad furious.

5. I don't show it when people disappoint me. Trust me, I've been disappointed quiet a few times last year ('08). I just won't mention some of them. I feel that if I show that I am, they'll get disappointed or even more disappointed. I hide what I feel if it's necessary.

6. I've never broken a bone. Not one and I don't intend on breaking one.

7. I can be a snob. When I see an aqaintance walking around the mall or wherever, I do the "bust out my cellphone and press the keypad" trick so it seems like I didn't see him/her and if they say hi then I'll say hi back. Now if you're a friend and I run into you, we'll be doing alot of catching up.

8. I hate bugs/spiders. Absolutly hate em. I recently went to the philippines and there's roaches there. I walk into the bathroom and I rapidly walk out saying "ew ipis" (cockroach in tagalog). And my aunt would go kill it.

9. I love an adrenaline rush. Like the 60 foot drops on a roller coaster gets my adrenaline pumping.

10. I'm negative. When something good is happening.. I think of all the worst case scenarios that can happen. Like when I was on the airplane and it was experiencing REAL bad turbulance, all i could think about was us crashing into the water and I don't know how to swim. Or when me and some friends went to this concert type thing.. all I thought about was "what if we don't get in? I drove all the way to san francisco for nothing." etc etc.

11. I put other people first instead of me. It's self explanitory. That goes into the being too nice category.

12. I don't like the ocean. But I love going to the beaches for the views and whatnot. I love the city.. The sky scrapers, the nightlife, the lights, and everything else it has to offer.

13. My middle name (roldan) is my real mothers maiden name. That's the only thing SHE has that's apart of ME. My mom right now is not my real mom but I treat her like she is because she's been there since I was young. My real mom left when I was only 3. I kept in touch with her last year for a couple of days then it faded. I'm not trippen tho.

14. I have really bad memory. So studying can be very hard for me. I have to work extra to remember things but there are times when I can remember things from way back when I was little but if you're asking me to remember something from yesterday.. It's like "i don't remember".

15. I was a T.A. (teachers assistant) in the library. I actually looked forward to that class everytime. The environment is calm and peaceful. Ever since I T.A'd there, I learned that I loved to work with people. Ironically, I read this in a article
"Although they are well suited for careers in machine drawing, surveying and similar occupations, they are better fitted for a job in a library or office than a workshop."

16. I barely know anybody who uses blogger. Except you ISS users. So I don't know who to tag next. Probably just a couple and not 16 people.

Yesterday, my dad woke me up extra early to go to Eastwood Mall. It's like a high class mall so it was really empty compared to the SM malls here. Like really empty. It's still building some stores so it's not fully finished. We went there and played in the arcade haha. Afterwards we ate at Terriyaki Boy, good food. Then we went to The Fort, Taguig. Very nice. I wouldn't mind living in a condo in that area. Me and the cousins kinda just spent the whole time in the Apple store taking pictures haha. And again, we went bowling.

I can't remember the last time I was ever this sick. My throat hurts when I sneeze, my nose is clogged to the max, and I'm coughing every 10 seconds. My cousin gave me some nasty ass nyquil shit last night and it helped.. ALOT.

Yesterday was New Years Eve for me. I must say, my parents were right about spending the Holidays in the Philippines. Last night was actually pretty fun. We started lighting fireworks at about 11pm. As it got closer to 12am, the fireworks were non-stop. My eyes were getting irritated and dry since I wear contacts and all the smoke from the fireworks were just rushing into my eyeballs. That was not cool. It was hard to breathe also cuz the smoke was so thick. Philippines is so polluted, no lie lol. After the extravaganza, there was food served of course. Bbq, spaghetti, sopas, queso de bola, sans rival and hella other shit. After the feast, we had family games. Musical chairs, the spoon game (i forgot what its called), "hep hep" hooray LMAO, beer drinking straw thing. Then we did a New Years Secret Santa. I got 2 perfumes and a wallet. :)

Tonight we're going to continue our New Years Day celebration at the Mall of Asia. Bowling & fireworks. I'll blog again tomorrow.

I'm sorta getting used to the Philippines. I guess you can say I'm "adjusting". Never really liked it here (no offense) or maybe because it's a little bit colder than when I usually go. Yeah, I think that's why.

Anyhoooooo, ever since after the wedding, I've been staying in the province side of Philippines. Kinda miss Manila only because I have something to do when I get bored, here it's like.. The country side. All I've done is play Tong-It's a.k.a Russian Poker. I've won over 100 pesos. I'm surprised because I can actually beat my cousins since they're like pro at that game. Christmas was okay. Better than the christmas we usually celebrate in America. All my fam was here, we were lighting up fireworks and shiet. Fun fun. We made ghetto margarita shots LMAO. We're spending our New Years in Manila. I better get my ear plugs for those fireworks.

On Saturday, we went to Subic. Beaches and shit. It's kinda something like Santa Cruz............. Ish. Played beach volleyball and got sunburnt. And let me tell you, my whole family went so we checked into 14 ROOMS in the hotel lmao.

I havn't been able to update on the photos. When I get back I have alot of making up to do x) I already filled up one of my memory cards. It got about 1113 photos, good thing I have another one. Bwuahaha. Kk I'm out for now. I got 10 minutes left on this thing.

So on Sunday here, Saturday there, me and the fams checked into G Hotel in Manila. I love the motif of their hotel, black & white. Looks elegant. My whole family took over the hotel cuz we all checked in here for my cousin's wedding. Room hopping at night haha. Yesterday was the wedding. Her dress was pricless, so beautiful. At the end of the wedding, the couple let the doves fly but the birds ended up flying to the post right next to them, so this homeless dude goes up the pole and takes the bird and runs to his crew. I'm sure they're gonna cook it and eat it but i felt that as just rude cuz the ceremony wasnt over. Anyways, the reception lasted about 3 hours. It was filled with happiness and joy haha. Today, were checking out the hotel and going to my dad's province to celebrate Christmas there. Pictures will be up later.

Whoa. I'm currently in the Philippines. I can't stay on long, which means I don't have much time. I'm at an internet cafe with my sister and it's like 8:30pm right now. FREAKING HOT. They need a/c up in this shit. My photos will probably low quality cuz I'm uploading from blogger.

Happy Birthday to Puma... Yesterday.

That party was ridic. But it was fun. I had different emotions throughout the whole time. We arrived at the venue in San Francisco around 8pm. The line was about a block long. Thank goodness we came early. They let people in a little past 9pm. I was just really waiting for Gaga. She eventually came out at 1am. I was already on the verge of leaving.

In that huge craze, my UV Filter got loose and fell somewhere in the crowd. Not trippen tho. As long as my camera is okay :) haha.

Anyways, I took the CME on Friday. I forgot what it stands for but you need to pass it to be able to get into English 001. The teacher gives you a prompt and you have to state whether you agree or disagree with it in an essay form. And the prompt was "Should parents be paid to get involved with their child's school" something like that. PSH! I wanted to shoot myself. But I think I did fine. Went shopping with mi madre on Saturday blah blah blah.

I'm excited cuz I hear Lady Gaga is going to be in San Francisco for Puma's 60th Birthday. Along with Steve Aoki. It should be fun.

So me and my mains decided to make sushi over yesterday. Went grocery shopping at Seafood City in Vallejo (hella filipino) lol. Went back to my house, made sushi and watched Scary Movie One. Today was just a random day. Had one class; computers. We reviewed for the mid-terms. I'm so confident I'm going to pass that test.. So easy, that class is easy. Anyways, while people were reviewing for that I was on Meebo, chatting lmao. Me and Jeanine were talking about sushi, which got me craving for it. After class, I saw Amie and I gave her 15 bucks for my nephews lil boy scout fundraiser and she was telling me how Picture People was hiring entry level photographers. Of course that sparked my interest haha. So I headed to the mall and picked up an application then afterwards, I went to Bay Sushi to get some sushi to-go cuz of freakin Jeanine gah! Haha. I decided to celebrate my birthday over the weekend, so on Friday, me and the ladies went to the city to go clubbin. Last minute, my dad decided to get us a hotel room. How convinient :D It was my first time driving in the city also, so I was hella nervous. I was getting frustrated when we were driving to the hotel cuz the streets are so confusing and the GPS wasn't workin with me and got so frustrated I said "I want my mommy!" lmao. Ah that was priceless. We found the hotel then my cars battery decides to die on me in the parking garage. Thank god the dude was there to jump it. sdkjfa got to the hotel andddd got ready, headed to the club... With a taxi. Going home was a bitch. Couldn't find a taxi til after 30 minutes. Went to a BBQ on saturday, I only got 52 minutes of sleep that day, I was about ready to knock out. I had fun tho! =) Enjoy.

My weekend was alright. I went to school on Friday. Gah that day was so long. I had class at 11am - 11:45am then I had a 1 hour break, went to the lab from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. It's gonna be like that every Tuesday & Thursday. At night, I started looking at my baby pictures again. Saturday, I went the fisherman's wharf w/ Kuya Mike & Ate Candy. No not ate candy. Ate, means older sister in tagalog. Pronounched Ah-teh. Our trip was originally planned for Berkeley but Kuya Mike didn't know his way around there haha. So today was a long day. I went to school at about 10:30am. Got off at 12:00pm. Went to the math lab to work in my hours. I have to spend 16 hours in there before the end of the semester. I finished my homework in a quick 30 minutes, so I just sat there on my iPod browsing the internet and what not. On my way out, I ran into a friend whom I have not seen since Feb. Afterwards, I headed home. I TRIED to take a nap but my mind wouldn't shut down. I had my eyes closed but I still kept thinking haha. Went to the thrift store with my mom and stuffs blah whatever. Haha If you're thinking I'm doing like a day by day on my experience in college... I'm not. I just brought my camera to school today and took pictures and when I usually take pictures.. I blog.

Today was hella easy. I only had one class, which was computers lol. Our teacher decided to divide the class into the people that registered already and the add ins. So basically instead of getting out at 12:15pm, I get out 11:45pm because he needs to teach the add in's. Nice teacher in my opinion. Ratemyprofessfor.com really helps lol. Afterwards, I ran into Leah. We walked around, sat down and ended up seeing a few people from high school. Timayo & Pao finally came, went out for lunch at Ohana Hawaiian BBQ then I went home. Wow, I'm actually doing a blog the same day I went out haha. Anyways, me and pao had a lunch date. It was originally planned to go to Joe's in downtown Fairfield but it was closed when we got there, closest thing we could find to a "sandwich" was Monsoon Burgers. After we ate, we walked it off, took pictures and what not. We were walking behind this building and all of sudden this huge dog comes out of this garage and starts barking. In a heartbeat, me and pao looked at each other like "O_O oh shit!!" and we started walking hella fast. Dog had no leash too and it looked like a boxer or pitbull, one of those. Thank God the owner was there. Gave me an adrenaline rush tho. My heart was racing haha. Got bored, went to the park by the library, watched this dance showcase. Yeah random day. Enjoy!

I drove over to the Filipino store today to buy something and as I pulled up to the parking space, I see all these guys running away from this store and there's these two dudes that were about ready to beat each other up. The other dude threw a rock at the other one, then the other guy picked it up and smashed it on the other guys head. I was just over there chillin in my car watching it but of course I was scared lol. I got out the car, making my way to the store then a dude in this car yelled to the guy fighting "Come on fool before the cops come" and yeah. That was the highlight of my day. How ghetto haha.

Anyhoo, yesterday I went to Mae's house for a gathering for this Pastor at a church in Philippines. It was just a chill day. Enjoy!

Yesterday I went online to check my registration bill cuz my mom and I were gonna go next week to pay for it. When I logged in, it said my balance was $0.00 and I saw all these negative numbers getting subtracted to my total so I started to worry because I thought I got rejected or whatever lol. Few minutes later, my dad says I got mail so I read it and it said I have recieved a grant for one year and my fee's were already paid for. So I'm happy =)

The other day, I went to a prayer meeting for Amie's aunt, Virginia. May she rest in peace. I havn't been to one of those in a LONG time, so it was really different. Met her side of her family. Pretty chill folks. Afterwards, we went to Pho Lee Hoa Phat 3 lol. Amie and I talked about death on the way home and it was really creepy cuz we were driving on a back road at night haha. I didn't take alot of pictures cuz I ran low on battery, I thought I was full bat. Eh whatever enjoy! =)

Anyways, I swear my grandma is PMSing or something cuz she's been giving me an attitude the past 3 days and it's hella irritating me, almost to the point I'd talk back to her but I would never do that. Blahh okay so in December, my cousin is getting married in the Philippines and I was suppose to go but my parents decided that it's just going to be them two going. I really wanted to attend the wedding but it's not in their budget to afford another thousand dollar ticket. So I have the house to myself for a whole 3 weeks in December. Excited much? Haha.

So yesterday, I had to baby sit Sean, my nephew. Decided to take him to Chuck E. Cheese cuz all he does is watch tv here and I felt bad. Timayo was my driver haha, thanks girlll =) Towards the end we were rushing to go home cuz Timy had to go to work at 4pm, hella shoving the tickets in the lil eater thing and we had to finish about 80 tokens in 10 minutes. While we were putting the tickets, a random token is in the bag so I go play wheel of fortune and I go "Watch I get the jackpot" and unfortunatly I did, when I didn't want to cuz we were in a hurry haha then Timy came over after work, ate dinner and such. Oh and thanks to Juana for hookin us up with the free foood! Enjoy!
